Position

Senior Data Scientist

Location: x2 days a week in the office

Xcede is partnering with a leading global tech company to expand their Data Science team. With millions of users daily, data is central to their operations.

The Head of Data, an experienced Data Scientist, is building a top-tier team. The company seeks a Senior Data Scientist with strong commercial experience in developing Recommender Systems. Experience with Graph Models or Graph Neural Networks is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior colleagues and stakeholders to identify business opportunities where data science can add value.
• Develop statistical and machine learning models relevant to business needs.
• Design and implement Recommender Systems / Recommendation Engines.
• Effectively communicate findings to stakeholders to promote adoption.

Requirements

• A degree in STEM or Computer Science (MSc or higher preferred, but all backgrounds considered).
• Strong knowledge of Machine Learning and Statistics.
• Experience in Commercial Recommendation Engines.
• Familiarity with Software Development best practices (e.g., CI/CD).
