ICIS is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to build predictive models and interactive analytics for global commodity markets. You will work with a team of data scientists and engineers to forecast demand and price Dynamics, incorporating logistics, trade flows and supply chain factors.

You will develop production-grade code (Python/SQL), create Dash-based tools, and share insights with customers while collaborating across our global hubs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of practical experience in predictive modelling in commodities or trading contexts.
• Strong knowledge of Python-based data science and analytics libraries.
• Experience with data integration and building production-ready models.

Responsabilités

• Create and continuously improve analytical commodity market models in Python with close collaboration with analysts and engineers.
• Connect, clean, and impute freight, pricing, and supply/demand data from diverse sources.
• Develop interactive analytics and decision-support tools (e.g., Dash) and deliver models into the ICIS Data Lakehouse.
• Explain model results to customers and translate domain knowledge back into scalable models.
• Work with data engineers to productionize models and integrate new data sources.
