Job summary

Faculty is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead high-impact AI projects within our Energy, Transition and Environment team. You will define data science approaches, design robust software architectures, and mentor junior data scientists while building strong client relationships.

You will work on bespoke solutions for a range of clients, shaping technical direction and ensuring delivery rigour. We value leadership, commercial awareness, and a track record of delivering measurable AI outcomes.

Qualifications

• Senior experience in data science or quantitative academic field.
• Fluent Python with NumPy, Pandas and PyTorch.
• Expertise in NLP, supervised/unsupervised learning and validation.
• Leadership mindset and ability to mentor teammates.
• Commercial awareness with client-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact AI projects and shape technical direction.
• Define data science approaches and design robust software architectures.
