Faculty is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead high-impact AI projects and shape the technical direction of bespoke solutions. This role combines hands-on coding with crucial team leadership and client engagement.

You’ll define data science approaches, design robust software architectures, mentor junior colleagues, and ensure delivery rigour across projects while building deep client relationships and strengthening our practical AI reputation.

Qualifications

• Senior experience in a professional data science role or a quantitative academic field.
• Strong programming skills in Python with NumPy and Pandas; deep-learning with PyTorch.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams delivering bespoke AI solutions across clients.
• Define data science approaches and robust software architectures.
• Mentor junior data scientists and support professional growth.
• Partner with commercial teams to shape project scope and feasibility.
• Contribute to Faculty’s thought leadership through talks or open-source work.
• Ensure best practices across project lifecycles for high-quality delivery.
