Job summary

Expedia Group, a global travel company, seeks a Data Scientist III to own analytics for Hotels.com growth domains. You will design and execute rigorous analyses, frames questions, and translate insights into decisions shaping product roadmaps and marketing.

You will work with product, marketing, and supply teams, using SQL, Python, and experimentation platforms to drive impact at scale. You will also develop dashboards to track KPIs and train stakeholders on usage, while staying curious about

Qualifications

Mastery of SQL and analytics across complex data ecosystems.
Strong ability to translate big data into strategic, actionable recommendations; end-to-end analytics lifecycle.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for stakeholders atDirector+ levels.

Responsibilities

Deep dive into Hotels.com customer and booking data to uncover patterns and growth opportunities.
Design, conduct, and analyze A/B tests and Pre/Post analyses for product and marketing initiatives.
Develop an analytical toolkit (SQL, Python, statistical methods, experimentation) to extract insights and drive decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify challenges and provide data-driven insights to support decisions.
