Job summary

Haleon plc. in our Global AI & Data Science team is seeking a candidate to develop and advance data science models for marketing, commercial and digital. You will work with product owners, data engineers and ML engineers to deliver powerful, scalable solutions end-to-end.

You will prepare datasets, define metrics, monitor model performance, and support deployment and retraining. You will leverage external data for insights and contribute to forecasting, optimization and experimentation

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, applied mathematics, statistics, or another relevant discipline with a strong foundation in modelling and CS.
• Extensive industry experience developing ML models and creating software pipelines for predictions.
• Strong understanding of ML approaches and algorithms.
• Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL for data science and time series analysis.
• Experience with time series forecasting methods (ARIMA, Prophet, etc.).
• Experience with probabilistic programming and Bayesian methods.
• Experience with ML frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras).
• Experience coordinating projects across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Participate in creating, evolving, and developing data science models for Marketing, Commercial and Digital.
• Collaborate with product owners, data engineers and ML engineers to deliver high-quality data science solutions.
• Prepare datasets to train and validate machine learning models.
• Define and implement metrics to evaluate model performance (CPU/memory and ML metrics).
• Support deployment of ML models on infrastructure, including containerization and versioning.
• Manage lifecycle of ML models: monitoring, retraining, redeployments.
• Leverage third-party and syndicated data for insights on trade promotions, pricing, distribution, and digital shelving.
• Drive marketing automation, audience targeting, content production, and campaign optimization.
• Conceive and implement statistical models and MT/MV tests to measure impact of decisions.
