Haleon is seeking a Principal Data Architect – Commercial Effectiveness to lead the data architecture strategy and governance for the Value Pool. You will collaborate with engineering, security, and platform teams to enable scalable analytics, AI, and digital use cases aligned with Haleon’s strategic priorities.

You will mentor architects and engineers, drive architectural assurance across major initiatives, and ensure data platforms are secure, scalable and compliant with regulations.

Formación

• Extensive experience in a senior data architecture role within a large organisation.
• Proven experience building data architectures for the Commercial Effectiveness Value Pool.
• Ability to define, govern, and evolve enterprise-scale data architectures for analytics, AI, and digital use cases.
• Deep expertise in data modelling, integration patterns, metadata, and information lifecycle management.
• Hands-on with cloud data platforms (Azure preferred), data lakes and data warehousing.
• Experience establishing architecture standards and reference architectures across teams.
• Proven architectural leadership across high-impact initiatives.
• Strong data governance, quality, privacy, and regulatory knowledge embedded in designs.
• Ability to translate business strategy into target-state architectures and roadmaps.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to articulate trade-offs to leaders.
• Experience mentoring architects and engineers to raise architectural maturity.

Responsabilidades

• Act as senior technical authority for data architecture and long-term strategy.
• Define and govern data architecture principles, standards, reference architectures.
• Define and execute the Commercial Effectiveness Data Foundation Strategy.
• Translate Value Pool priorities into data roadmaps and target-state designs.
• Offer guidance to Value Pool leaders, PMs, and delivery teams during transformations.
• Define and govern the technology landscape for the Value Pools Data Foundations.
• Create data architecture patterns and frameworks aligned with growth goals.
• Evaluate new data technologies for transition to future state, balancing costs and risks.
• Advise on data architecture strategies and standards for Haleon.
• Provide thought leadership in data management, analytics, AI, GenAI.
• Support solution design to ensure secure, scalable solutions.
• Mentor data architects and engineers to raise capability.
• Contribute to technology evaluation and investment decisions.
• Support delivery teams through lifecycle from concept to industrialisation.
