Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Data Scientist in the UK to join a collaborative, Agile team delivering advanced analytics and AI-powered data products. You will work across the data lifecycle, develop production-quality Python/SQL solutions, and contribute to secure, scalable platforms within a data-driven engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in data science or a closely related field.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with production-quality development experience.
• Experience with large, complex datasets and data preparation, feature engineering and model validation.
• Practical experience with Git, Agile delivery and collaborative software development workflows.
• Experience with distributed data-processing and MLOps tools such as Spark, PySpark, MLflow, JupyterHub or equivalent technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy statistical, AI and machine learning solutions for operational challenges.
• Explore large datasets to identify trends, patterns and actionable insights.
• Apply machine learning and data science techniques to real-world problems and validate models.
