Job summary

Daintta is seeking a senior data science professional to lead client engagements and deliver end-to-end data solutions. You will work across PoC to production-ready models, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams in hybrid environments.

The role requires deep DS expertise, strong stakeholder management, and proven ability to translate complex analytics into clear outcomes for clients. Hybrid London/Cheltenham office presence is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in data science.
• Extensive STEM degree.
• Experience in consultancy, engineering, or data industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead client projects and provide subject matter expertise.
• Work in scrum-like environments for iterative and ‘fail-fast’ work and innovation.
• Collaborate in cross-disciplinary teams.
• Guide projects from PoC through MVP and MMP stages.
• Assess client needs and identify opportunities for data science.
• Solve problems using data science techniques in a scientifically robust fashion.
• Identify relevant data sources and modelling approaches for client needs.
• Work with structured, unstructured, time-series, text or image data and model appropriately.
• Apply statistical techniques to inform insights and actions from data.
• Communicate technical content clearly to internal teams and customers.
• Present data stories using DS tooling and investigations.
• Build maintainable code using DS libraries and existing techniques.
• Design and implement DS/ML on-premise, cloud, or hybrid infrastructure with testing and risk mitigations.
• Develop scalable models and algorithms for production deployment.
• Apply ethical principles in handling data.
• Deliver high-quality work on time while taking initiative.
• Support client engagements, including pitches and presentations.
• Help grow Daintta by inputting into company strategy.
• Represent core values: transparent, fair and daring
