Job summary

Digica Ltd. is seeking an experienced Data Scientist who will also act as a Technical Lead. You will design and deploy ML models for AI-focused R&D projects, guiding client conversations from solution design to production deployment.

You will mentor juniors, select algorithms, integrate models into production, and present results to stakeholders. The role offers a hybrid work model with 3 days in the office and collaboration with international clients.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years of professional experience in data analysis, statistics, computer vision or ML, including at least 4 years as a Data Scientist.
• Hands-on experience deploying ML models to production, not just research-level work.
• Strong Python expertise with NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn and related tools.
• Proficiency with Linux/Windows platforms and cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Excellent English communication for international clients and presentations.
• Experience with at least one major ML framework (TensorFlow or PyTorch).
• Solid SQL and data visualization skills.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing CV/ML/AI models (predictive, classification, LLM, recommender systems).
• Selecting and optimizing algorithms (regression, tree-based models, neural networks).
• Integrating models into production environments.
• Performing data cleaning, feature engineering, and model validation.
• Identifying tools and specifying processes.
• Mentoring junior team members and contributing to solution architecture.
• Preparing and presenting analytical results to business and technical stakeholders.
