Job summary

AECOM's Data Science & Analytics team is seeking a Digital Senior Data Scientist to drive data-driven decision-making across global projects in infrastructure, environment, and urban development.

Reporting to the Data Intelligence Lead, you will design and implement advanced analytics, AI/ML strategies, and IoT-driven insights that unlock measurable value. The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams and translating complex analytics for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of data science or applied ML experience.
• Strong Python (pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow) and SQL skills with geospatial data experience.
• Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Docker, CI/CD) and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).

Responsibilities

• Define and execute AI/ML roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Develop and deploy predictive and prescriptive models for key use cases.
• Establish model lifecycle practices, including monitoring and retraining.
• Collaborate with data engineering to design feature pipelines and ensure data quality.
