Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our Data Science & Analytics team, contributing to data-driven decision-making across global projects in infrastructure and urban development. The role focuses on AI/ML strategies, IoT insights, and predictive models to unlock business value.

Reporting to the Data Intelligence Lead, you will design models, govern MLOps, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior data scientists while aligning with global standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of data science or machine learning experience in infrastructure/environmental domains.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with geospatial data experience.
• Experience with MLOps and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).

Responsibilities

• Define and implement AI/ML roadmaps for predictive and prescriptive models.
• Develop models for demand forecasting, optimisation, and anomaly detection in infrastructure.
• Collaborate with data engineers to build data pipelines and ensure data quality.
