Job summary

Sky is seeking a data scientist to scale its advanced analytics practice in the UK. You will extract value from vast customer data, build predictive models and AI agents, and work with stakeholders to translate business needs into analytics solutions.

You will collaborate with data engineers and technology teams to deploy scalable, compliant models in cloud environments and drive improvements across customer lifecycle decisions at Sky.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in advanced analytics and ML, incl. forecasting, modelling, optimisation, clustering
• Proven track record deploying large-scale AI/ML solutions in cloud environments
• Excellent ability to translate business needs into analytical solutions and communicate insights to senior stakeholders
• Proficient in Python with Scikit-learn and PyTorch, VS Code, and AI-assisted coding tools
• Knowledge of MLOps and generative AI/AI agents for business problems

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive actionable customer intelligence from core data assets
• Build AI/ML solutions using product holding, demographics, usage, and interactions
• Develop predictive models for churn, lifetime value, segmentation, and other use cases
• Explore and build AI agents to automate analysis and speed up insights
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define objectives and translate them into analytics projects
• Partner with tech teams to build compliant, scalable solutions for customer treatments
• Strengthen data science capabilities by testing new ideas and tools
• Lead projects with 1-2 team members and delegate tasks
