Job summary

HCC Service Co. UK Branch seeks a Senior Full Stack Data Quality Engineer to deliver hands-on data quality testing across the modern data platform, covering ingestion, transformation, data lake, data warehouse, and BI outputs.

You will design automated checks using dbt, SQL, Python, and Power BI, and integrate tests into CI/CD while collaborating with the Product Team to ensure timely defect resolution and release readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and executing data quality tests across ETL/ELT, data lake, and BI outputs.
• Ability to test Snowflake outputs against source systems and business rules.
• Define and implement automated data quality checks with dbt, Python, and SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD integration for data validation pipelines.
• Strong collaboration with engineering and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute data quality testing across ingestion, transformations, and reporting layers.
• Validate Snowflake data lake and warehouse outputs against requirements.
• Develop and maintain automated test harness and dbt validation checks.
• Support root cause analysis of data defects and issue resolution.
• Provide test evidence and release readiness input for delivery decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate progress.
