Job summary

Irwin Mitchell in the United Kingdom is seeking a Data Quality Assurance Engineer to test the Data Platform and related data products. You will work with Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers and stakeholders to ensure robust, well-tested solutions before users reach them.

You will contribute to test strategies, shape quality standards and support continuous improvement across testing frameworks and processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in Quality Assurance or software testing.
• Experience testing data platforms or data pipelines.
• Structured, methodical testing approach with attention to detail.
• Collaborative work with engineers and technical stakeholders.
• Clear communication of issues and risks.
• Experience in Agile or delivery-focused environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and execute testing across the Data Platform and related data products.
• Perform functional, integration and regression testing across platform deliveries.
• Work closely with engineers to understand requirements and identify risks early.
• Log, track and manage defects through to resolution.
• Contribute to test strategies, test plans and quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement in testing approaches, tooling and processes.
• Help ensure platform releases meet agreed quality, performance and reliability standards.
