Job summary

Caravan and Motorhome Club is seeking a senior data protection and privacy leader to act as the DPO and strategic owner of privacy governance across the organisation. You will guide DPIAs, LIAs, ROPAs and DPIAs while coordinating with regulators and stakeholders to ensure compliance and protect data subjects’ rights.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and hands-on oversight of data security programs, incident response, and vendor contracts within a UK context.

Qualifications

• Senior data protection/privacy/compliance leadership with mentoring experience.
• Expert knowledge of UK data protection law (UK GDPR) and ICO guidance.
• Experience liaising with regulatory bodies such as the ICO.
• Strong awareness of ISO 27001 information security controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as statutory DPO for the Club and Alan Rogers Travel Group, liaising with ICO and regulators.
• Lead privacy governance, DPIAs, LIAs and ROPAs.
• Oversee PCI DSS compliance and data security incident management.
• Manage recruitment and development for DSCT team; ensure training.
• Report breaches and data protection metrics to Directors and DSPG.
