Job summary

IQ-EQ, a leading Investor Services group, is expanding its Group Data Protection Team. The role provides expert technical advice and supports the Group DPO to oversee privacy and data protection across the organisation, including to clusters and group support functions.

You will develop policies, lead DPIAs, conduct audits, train staff, and engage stakeholders to embed data protection in operations; 6+ years' experience, GDPR knowledge and certifications are required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in data protection and privacy management.
• Industry certifications such as IAPP CIPP/E, CIPM, or Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection.
• Demonstrated GDPR competency and knowledge of current data protection regulations.
• Expert-level knowledge in developing and implementing data protection frameworks and policies.
• Experience conducting compliance audits, risk assessments, and stakeholder engagement on data protection matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on all aspects of data protection compliance across the organisation.
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive data protection policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to identify risks and areas for improvement.
• Engage with stakeholders across departments to ensure data protection principles are embedded in business operations.
• Lead data protection impact assessments and advise on regulatory requirements and obligations.
• Design and deliver training programmes to promote data protection awareness and best practice throughout the organisation.
