M&G plc is seeking a Senior Data Product Manager to lead the roadmap and prioritise data products across Asset Management. You will partner with data engineering, analytics, and AI teams to deliver trusted data products aligned with business outcomes.

This business-facing role focuses on turning investment data needs into actionable data products, with emphasis on adoption, data quality, and regulatory reporting considerations. Location in London with flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in data product management or senior business data analysis within asset management or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of investment data domains (instruments, portfolios, positions, transactions, performance, client data).
• Proven track record owning a data product roadmap and backlog with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent requirements analysis to turn ambiguous needs into clear specs and acceptance criteria.
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders across investment, client, operations and regulatory areas.
• Translate business needs into clear, outcome-driven data product requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Own the data product portfolio roadmap and backlog, balancing new work with BAU and technical debt.
• Define success metrics and drive adoption and value realization for data products.
