Job summary

RELX seeks a Senior Data Product Manager to own a defined area of the Enterprise Product Hub data estate, including digital product data ingestion and publication. You’ll work with EPH and EDA leaders to shape priorities, guide analysts, and drive decisions under ambiguity.

This role emphasizes delivery, governance, and cross‑team collaboration within a global information and analytics business. You will influence data models, publication processes, and roadmap trade-offs to improve product data

Qualifications

• Experience writing clear, well-constrained requirements and specifications.
• Proven senior stakeholder management across business and engineering teams.
• Deep knowledge of data management practices including MDM and metadata management.
• Practical experience with an MDM platform is advantageous.
• Experience coaching and developing junior or mid-level analysts.
• Product management or owner experience preferred, especially in large federated environments.

Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders to elicit requirements for evolving product data model and translate into specs from concept to live release.
• Capture and articulate business value, prioritise work based on outcomes and benefits to the organisation.
• Make prioritisation and scope decisions across maintenance, programme delivery and roadmap trade-offs.
• Build relationships across business and engineering teams; manage adoption, training and documentation.
• Shift towards Spec-Driven Development with clear, testable requirements focusing on clarity and success criteria.
• Coach and develop junior analysts and participate in recruitment activities.
• Take ownership of a defined product area, shaping roadmap priorities and long-term planning.
• Contribute to data governance practices and data flow documentation.
