Job summary

Elsevier is seeking a Senior Data Product Manager to own a defined area of the Enterprise Product Hub data estate, focusing on digital product data ingestion and publication. You will work with the Head of Product Data and Senior Director of EDA to shape roadmaps and drive outcomes across AI-enabled delivery.

You will lead cross-functional teams with analysts and engineers, write clear requirements, coach junior staff, and ensure data governance and metadata practices support go-to-market and

Qualifications

Experience writing clear, constrained requirements and specs.
Track record owning a product or workstream end-to-end.
Strong stakeholder management in complex environments.

Responsibilities

Elicit requirements from stakeholders and translate into specifications.
Articulate business value and prioritise work based on outcomes.
Manage scope decisions across maintenance, delivery, and roadmaps.
Coach junior/mid analysts and support onboarding and recruitment.
Own a defined product area and shape long-term planning.
Contribute to data governance, onboarding, and data flow docs.
