Job Description:

Maverick Associates are recruiting for Senior Data Processor for our client based in Livingstone. MUST BE UK BASED.

Senior Data Processor Offshore Responsibilities

The Senior Data Processor is responsible for the onboard processing and management of all relevant acquired data, including hydrographic and bathymetric data, as well as the production of associated charts.

HSE Responsibilities

• Actively participate and lead by example in the Company’s Quality and HSE Systems and Procedures.
• Understand and comply with PPE requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Be prepared to “Stop the Job” if safety is compromised.

Role Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect the quality of raw data upon receipt and notify if not suitable for processing.
• Review and adapt data processing workflows as needed, recording changes for verification.
• Process acquired data sets using the company’s software.
• Maintain updated logs and report progress to the Party Chief regularly.
• Mentor junior processors and assist as needed.
• QC datasets at each processing stage to ensure data integrity.
• Discuss requirements and final deliverables with the Party Chief.
• Back up processed data regularly according to policy.
• Create or amend charts as required, including templates.
• Maintain quality standards in line with company policies.
• Conduct performance reviews for team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 1st: Party Chief / Senior Surveyor
• 2nd: Project Manager
