Job summary

AJ Bell Management Limited is seeking an experienced Data Privacy Manager to support the Data Protection Officer across the business. This second line role provides independent advice, challenge and oversight, embedding privacy by design and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will work with colleagues at all levels, manage privacy risk, and contribute to governance, MI and reporting while developing privacy capability across AJ Bell.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018 and PECR.
Experience in data protection, privacy, risk or compliance roles.
Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
Experience with DPIAs, data breaches and data subject rights requests.

Responsibilities

Provide clear, practical data protection advice to stakeholders across the business.
Review DPIAs for new initiatives, products, systems and changes.
Support management of personal data breaches including investigation, risk assessment and remediation.
Review and advise on data subject rights requests.
