Job summary
Barnett Waddingham is seeking an experienced Senior Risk & Compliance Consultant (Data Privacy) to work from our Birmingham office, with hybrid working and flexible hours. You will support clients across sectors, delivering proactive privacy advisory services and reactive data breach support.
The role involves regulating privacy frameworks and guiding senior stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have hands-on privacy management experience, DPIAs, third-party assessments, and strong communication
Qualifications
- Experience delivering proactive privacy advisory services.
- Experience handling data breaches and incident response.
- Ability to explain privacy risks to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience conducting DPIAs and third-party privacy assessments.
Responsibilities
- Support multiple client engagements across sectors in a busy consulting environment.
- Proactively assess and improve clients' privacy posture.
- Conduct privacy impact assessments and DPIAs for new tech/uses of data.
