Job summary

Aviva plc is seeking a Principal Data Platforms Security Specialist to secure the enterprise data platforms and SaaS estate. You will strengthen security controls across Snowflake, Databricks and related cloud environments, driving continuous compliance monitoring and remediating risks in collaboration with Data Platform, Cloud Security and Application Security teams.

You will lead governance, automate security controls, and engage stakeholders to translate risks into concrete actions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience securing enterprise data platforms and cloud-based data environments.
• Strong knowledge of SaaS security, SSPM tooling, posture management and security configuration best practices.
• Experience implementing identity and access controls including RBAC and privileged access management.

Responsibilities

• Secure enterprise data platforms and SaaS estate, strengthening security controls.
• Drive continuous compliance monitoring across CIS, NIST and FS regulatory standards.
• Identify security risks, remediation activities and governance with stakeholders.
• Support automation and collaboration with Data Platform, Cloud Security and App Security teams.
