Job summary

Omnicom Media seeks a senior data engineer to own and extend a config-driven data platform (DMI) that ingests, transforms, and delivers paid media data from 26+ ad platforms into analysis-ready BigQuery tables. You will build and maintain dbt models, Python CLI tooling, and Terraform-managed infrastructure, while mentoring the data engineering team and driving best practices across DataOps.

• dbt macros, templates, incremental models, tests.
• Python 3.11+ for CLI tools and automation.
• Strong SQL skills with BigQuery dialect.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data pipelines from ingestion to analysis-ready tables in BigQuery.
• Develop and maintain dbt macros and YAML definitions for 26+ platforms.
• Manage GCP infra via Terraform.
• Build Python CLI tooling for onboarding and orchestration.
• Mentor data engineers and promote DataOps best practices.
• Collaborate with analysts and BI teams to maximise data model value.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and documentation.
