Job summary

Octopus Energy Group is building a production-grade, governance-minded platform to enable AI-enabled tools across our energy assets. You will design and implement enterprise-grade identity, access, and governance controls for human users, systems, and AI agents while strengthening CI/CD and IaC practices.

You will partner with data engineers, platform builders, and business stakeholders to translate architectures into reliable, scalable infrastructure across Azure/AWS and Databricks

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing enterprise-grade federated identity, token exchange, and access control lifecycles.
• Hands-on IaC with Terraform and production CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience hardening API gateways for authentication, routing, and policy enforcement.
• Technical comfort across Azure, AWS, or Databricks ecosystems.
• Autonomous engineer who translates architecture into practical code and communicates trade-offs clearly.

Responsibilities

• Platform Engineering & CI/CD: build and maintain IaC across environments.
• Identity, Access & Security: design federated identity and access models.
• AI Gateway & Governance: harden gateway layers and logging for governance.
• Observability & FinOps: implement monitoring, cost attribution, and budgets.
• Enablement & Integration: deploy vector DB and integration patterns with governance.
