Job summary

Super Payments is seeking an experienced Data Platform Engineer to own and evolve our event-driven data pipelines on AWS and Snowflake. You will build ingestion paths, manage schema changes, and contribute to production reliability.

You'll work with Terraform/Terragrunt, Python (Poetry, Pydantic), dbt, and Datadog monitors. Collaboration with engineers and analytics teams is essential to deliver audit-ready, high-quality data.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with streaming/ingestion (Kinesis, EventBridge or equivalents).
• Terraform experience; Terragrunt a plus. Comfortable owning modules across environments.
• Strong SQL for Snowflake, including Snowpipe and Tasks.
• Proven experience building well tested SQL and Python models in dbt.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the EventBridge → Firehose → S3 → Snowpipe ingestion path, including partitioning and throughput tuning as event volumes grow.
• Design Snowpark-based Python procedures for file-based and third-party data loads, scheduled and monitored as Snowflake Tasks.
• Manage upstream schema changes and late-arriving data to avoid breaking downstream consumers.
