Liberty IT is seeking a skilled Data Engineer in the UK to join a team delivering data pipelines and products powering pricing and modelling. You will work with Python, AWS and Snowflake to build robust data foundations and scalable cloud-native architectures.

You will collaborate with data scientists, analytics and product teams, contributing to data governance and quality, and advancing engineering standards while mentoring peers.

Formación

• Strong experience developing high-quality, scalable software solutions using Python.
• Experience building and managing data pipelines, data products, or analytical platforms in cloud environments.
• Understanding of data modelling, governance, quality and optimisation.
• Experience with AWS and cloud-native data technologies.
• Experience delivering solutions using Snowflake or similar platforms.
• Experience in agile teams and production-ready software.
• Collaboration with data scientists, analysts and product owners.
• 3+ years' software development in a commercial environment (or 5+ years with certifications).

Responsabilidades

• Transform and deliver high-quality, scalable datasets for pricing and modelling.
• Build Python-based data ingestion, transformation and delivery solutions.
• Design and maintain data pipelines and data products for pricing and analytics.
• Work with AWS and Snowflake to deliver secure, scalable data solutions.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers and stakeholders to deliver value.
• Ensure data quality, reliability and compliance via best practices and tests.
• Mentor engineers and raise technical standards.
