Job summary

Baltimore Consulting is seeking a Senior Data and Performance Analyst for an interim role with a local authority. You will work with senior leaders to translate data into insights that inform service improvements and strategic decisions.

The role focuses on data analysis, Power BI dashboards, GDPR compliance and data governance, using large datasets. Hybrid working is offered with a 3-month initial term.

Qualifications

• Experience with large and complex datasets in public sector environments.
• Advanced Power BI, SQL and Excel skills for reporting.
• Knowledge of GDPR, data governance and handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Lead data analysis, performance reporting and insight generation across the service.
• Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards, management information reports and self-service analytics tools.
• Present performance trends, risks and opportunities to Senior Management Teams and Boards.
• Drive improvements in data quality, governance and performance management with operations and IT.
• Utilise SQL and large datasets to deliver innovative analytical solutions.
