Job summary

GWI is seeking a Senior Data Journalist to drive data-led storytelling for the PR & Corporate Comms team in London. You’ll interrogate GWI data, transform it into commercially impactful narratives, and support media enquiries with data points.

You will partner with Marketing and Insights to develop data stories for events, ABM, and high-value accounts, delivering a range of outputs from white papers to podcasts. Hybrid work and a dynamic environment define the role.

Qualifications

• Expert analysis and storytelling to turn data into insights addressing media enquiries and client challenges.
• Adaptability to engage diverse audiences—researchers to commercial leaders—bringing value to discussions.
• Experience in PR strategy and media relations with journalists.
• Strong presentation and writing skills; comfortable delivering sessions and handling questions.
• Deep experience with quantitative research methods and mastery of GWI data.

Responsibilities

• Interrogate GWI data and transform it into actionable, editorially strong narratives.
• Support proactive pitches and media enquiries with data points to strengthen stories.
• Collaborate with Head of Comms and teams to develop data-led stories and trends for press.
• Identify strategic thought-leadership themes and bring them to life through compelling data stories.
• Partner with Marketing to support ABM and demand-gen with bespoke insights.
• Build bespoke data stories for high-value accounts to enable personalized campaigns.
• Deliver outputs including presentations, white papers, reports, podcasts, and op-eds.
• Ensure thought leadership demonstrates ROI by linking to workflows and jobs-to-be-done.
• Represent GWI on global stages at conferences, client events, and panels.
