Job summary

The Product Counsel is seeking a pragmatic Data Scientist to join its team, working remotely with a preference for candidates based in London or Cambridge. You will design, build, and deploy ML-enabled insights from large advertising datasets, collaborating with a data engineer, and mentoring junior engineers at client sites to elevate engineering quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in Ad Tech or Mar Tech with exposure to high-volume, data-intensive environments.
• Hands-on experience across data engineering, BI, or data platform roles.
• Proven track record of delivering accurate, production-grade data solutions.
• Strong ownership and accountability for data quality.
• Comfortable operating autonomously in ambiguous environments and making sound technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines from source systems through analytics-ready datasets.
• Own and improve ETL/ELT workflows, understanding downstream propagation of changes.
• Design analytics-ready data models balancing correctness, usability, and maintainability.
• Establish trusted data assets with clear ownership, definitions, and consistent behaviour.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers at client sites and share expertise.
• Participate in client-facing discussions and business development activities as required.
