Job summary

The Product Counsel is seeking a data scientist to join our team in a remote UK role with a preference for London or Cambridge. You will analyze large advertising datasets, build and evaluate ML models, and deploy insights that drive business impact.

You’ll work with a data engineer, use Python and PyTorch in notebooks, and translate model outputs into actionable BI for stakeholders. Remote-friendly, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Strong background in data science, statistics and ML.
• Hands-on experience with Python and PyTorch.
• Proficient with large datasets, ideally on GCP and BigQuery.
• Comfortable writing reproducible, clear code in notebooks.
• Experience with advertising or marketing data is a plus.
• Desirable: experience with SSP/DSP/DMP ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large-scale advertising datasets to uncover trends and insights.
• Select, train, and evaluate ML models for business outcomes.
• Leverage Python and PyTorch in notebooks to model data.
• Collaborate with engineers to deploy models to production.
• Translate model outputs into clear business intelligence for stakeholders.
• Optionally perform data engineering tasks (pipelines, ETL) if desired.
