Menzies LLP is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the development and operation of our data warehouse on Google Cloud Platform. You will create scalable data pipelines, enable insightful reporting, and empower AI-driven decision making across the firm.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering or analytics platform roles.
• Strong SQL and Python proficiency.
• Experience with BigQuery and GCP.
• Knowledge of dbt, Airflow and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Lead scalable data pipelines into BigQuery from internal systems and APIs.
• Architect GCP data warehouse solutions with BigQuery, GCS, Pub/Sub.
• Champion data modelling, tests, and cost optimisation.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver data products and governance.
