Job summary

Pleo is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for its Growth Intelligence team. You will design and maintain the integration architecture linking CRM, billing, and customer success data into a central BigQuery warehouse. You’ll own data contracts and partner with RevOps and BAT to deliver governed, scalable data foundations.

You will work with analytics engineers to ensure pipeline outputs are ready for modelling, while simplifying architecture and improving data quality across systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building production data pipelines in SaaS or GTM environments.
• Strong understanding of CRM data models and APIs (HubSpot or similar).
• Hands-on experience with reverse ETL patterns: enriching warehouse data back to tools.
• Extensive BigQuery experience for data warehousing and modelling.
• Experience implementing data contracts in production environments.
• Python proficiency for pipeline development and data transformations.
• Git-based workflows and CI/CD for data engineering code.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines between commercial tools (HubSpot, Zuora, Vitally) and the BigQuery warehouse.
• Own reverse ETL flows: push enriched data back into operational tools with consistent definitions.
• Define and maintain data contracts with clear ownership, SLAs, and schema agreements.
• Collaborate with RevOps and BAT to translate needs into reliable, governed pipelines.
• Build monitoring and alerts to catch data quality issues before dashboards fail.
• Centralise data flows in the warehouse to reduce point-to-point integrations.
• Work with Analytics Engineers to ensure outputs are structured for modelling.
• Engage with tool owners and engineers to improve data quality at the source.
