Job summary

Experis Austria is seeking a Data Engineer in Warwick with hybrid working arrangements for a 6‑month contract. You will design and maintain scalable data pipelines on Azure Data Factory, build ETL/ELT processes, and work with Snowflake and DataOps.live to enable reliable data products. Power BI familiarity is a plus.

The role requires strong SQL skills, data modelling, and collaboration across data, analytics, and engineering teams. Daily rate and IR35 considerations apply.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data engineering experience with designing and building scalable data pipelines.
• Experience with data integration, orchestration, and data product concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
• Develop robust ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, and publish data across enterprise platforms.
• Work with structured and semi-structured data, applying data modelling, validation, and quality checks.
• Write and optimise SQL for data transformation, reconciliation, and performance tuning.
• Develop and support data solutions on Snowflake as a core cloud data platform.
• Use DataOps.live practices for automated deployments and version-controlled data releases.
• Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to implement CI/CD and environment management.
• Support monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of data pipelines and platform processes.
• Contribute to the design and delivery of reusable Data Products aligned to business needs.
• Apply data product principles such as ownership, discoverability, quality, and documentation.
• Work with stakeholders to translate data requirements into reliable solutions.
• Support Power BI reporting by enabling well-structured data models.
