Job summary

Saragossa is seeking a senior data engineer to lead the greenfield development of a cloud data warehouse and portfolio monitoring platform using Azure and Databricks, turning Excel workflows into auditable pipelines and laying a scalable tech stack to support future fund launches.

This 18‑month contract sits as an Outside IR35 position; finance experience, ideally Private Equity or asset management, plus strong SQL and Python (PySpark) skills, are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Senior data engineer with finance or PE experience is preferred.
• Strong SQL and Python (PySpark) skills.
• Experience building auditable data pipelines from Excel to cloud.
