Job summary

La Fosse is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a high-impact team in Liverpool. The role focuses on rebuilding and optimising data pipelines for a Databricks Lakehouse, enabling clean and scalable data delivery for analytics. On-site requirements are three days per week.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of data engineering experience, hands-on Databricks and Azure, and strong stakeholder communication skills, with Python, PySpark, and SQL proficiency.

Job description

We have a new Senior Data Engineer contract opportunity with client of ours based in Liverpool with 3 days required per week on-site.

You’ll join a high-impact team focused on rebuilding and optimising data pipelines into a Databricks Lakehouse environment, enabling clean, scalable, and high-quality data delivery for analytics and reporting.

This is outside IR35, and offers an initial 6-month contract with an immediate start and strong potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities
