Job summary

RSM UK in Cambridge, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Milton Keynes, and Birmingham is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our Global VAT Team. You will deliver modern data integration solutions for a diverse client portfolio, combining hands-on delivery with active client engagement using Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Azure.

This role covers the full project lifecycle from discovery to deployment and support, ensuring secure, scalable, reliable, and maintainable platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering data integration solutions for clients.
• Design and implement cloud-based ETL/ELT solutions.
• Collaborate with architects and delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Build data integration solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure.
• Lead discovery workshops and gather requirements.
• Design, develop and maintain data pipelines.
• Create secure REST API and SFTP integrations.
• Develop Fabric Lakehouses, Warehouses, Dataflows and Data Pipelines.
• Integrate data from SQL Server, APIs, CSV, Excel, JSON and XML sources.
• Collaborate with delivery teams across projects.
• Monitor production data solutions and investigate incidents.
