Job summary

Reply is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own data solutions from design through production delivery. You will design data models, develop scalable pipelines, and implement transformations using SQL, dbt and cloud data platforms.

You’ll ensure solutions are reliable, performant, secure and maintainable while collaborating with clients, architects and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data architectures.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills with complex transformations.
• Hands-on dbt experience with pipelines and testing.
• Experience delivering data solutions on at least one cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Understanding of ETL/ELT, data modelling and warehouse design.
• Experience taking designs to production deployment and ongoing support.
• Knowledge of Git, code reviews, automated tests and CI/CD.
• Understanding of data quality, governance and security best practices.
• Excellent communication with technical and business stakeholders.
• Delivery-focused with ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of data engineering solutions from requirements to production.
• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and transformations using SQL, dbt and cloud platforms.
• Develop high-quality data models to support reporting, analytics, and AI initiatives.
• Apply software engineering best practices including version control, testing and CI/CD.
• Ensure solutions are reliable, secure, and well-documented with monitoring and observability.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to translate needs into technical designs.
• Contribute to architectural standards and best practices, mentoring peers.
