Job summary

Scott Logic is a UK data engineering partner delivering bespoke software and data platforms. You will design and implement data pipelines, build data lakes/warehouses, and transform datasets for analytics, ML, and reporting. You’ll work hands-on with modern tools, collaborating closely with clients to deliver pragmatic solutions.

The role features client-facing responsibilities with some on-site time in the London area, alongside flexible remote work according to project needs.

Qualifications

• Experience with data engineering tech like pipelines, storage, and analytics querying.
• Proficient in Python, Spark, SQL, PySpark, and PowerBI.
• Software engineering background with front-end JS.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to design maintainable systems.
• Excellent communication and collaborative approach.
• Willingness to learn new skills and grow experience.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on work building data platforms and pipelines for clients.
• Build data lakes and warehouses, transform siloed datasets into integrated models.
• Work with clients on on-site engagements in London area as needed.
