Job summary

Scott Logic is seeking experienced data engineers to support UK clients, delivering data platforms and analytics solutions. You will work on data pipelines, data lakes and warehouses, transforming siloed data into integrated models for business insight, with some on-site time in London.

Ideal candidates have strong software engineering roots, experience with Python, Spark, SQL and PowerBI, and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience with modern data engineering tech: storage, pipelines to ingest/transform data, and querying/ reporting of analytical data.
• Background in software engineering including Front End technologies like JavaScript.
• Strong communication and collaborative approach; problem-solving mindset.
• Willingness to spend time on-site with clients in London area on an ad-hoc basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead data engineering projects for clients, delivering end-to-end data platforms and analytics solutions.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, data lakes/warehouses, and data models to enable business insight.
• Collaborate with clients and teams to set technical direction and solve engineering challenges.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and adapt to new tools and approaches.
