Job summary
Amtis Professional Ltd is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to help shape and develop a modern Azure data estate. You will design and build scalable Azure data pipelines and data warehouses, using Databricks, Synapse, and Data Factory.
Hybrid working is offered with 1 day on-site per week in the East Midlands. The role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders, governance, security, and continuous improvement of the data platform, leveraging the latest Azure technologies.
Qualifications
- Experience designing and building scalable Azure data pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of Databricks, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing.
- Experience with data governance, security and CI/CD workflows.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable Azure data pipelines and ETL solutions.
- Build and optimise Azure-based data warehouses and data lakes.
- Improve platform performance, reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
- Support data governance, security and best practices across the platform.
- Contribute to the continuous evolution of the Azure data platform.
