Job summary

Amtis Professional Ltd is seeking a Data Engineer to join our established data team, working on Azure and Databricks pipelines. The role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, integrating data from multiple systems, and producing analytics-ready datasets.

You will work across ingestion, transformation, modelling, and data solutions, using Azure Databricks, Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, SQL and Python/PySpark, with a hybrid on-site requirement of one day per week.

Qualifications

• Experience with Azure Databricks and Azure analytics services.
• Understanding of data warehousing and ETL principles.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance data pipelines across Azure and Databricks.
• Develop ETL/ELT solutions to integrate data from multiple sources.
• Transform and model data for analytics and reporting.
• Support the data lake and cloud data environment development.
• Troubleshoot pipelines, improve performance and reliability.
• Maintain data quality, governance and security standards.
• Collaborate with Data, BI and business teams to deliver solutions.
• Contribute to engineering standards, documentation and platform evolution.
