Job summary

tem is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our Data Service team. You’ll own the design, reliability, and recovery of ingestion pipelines, including TSDS, and drive end-to-end data platform improvements across time-series data and event streams.

You’ll collaborate with AI initiatives as the platform underpins advanced analytics, ensure SLA commitments, and help expand our data products. This remote-friendly role offers strong ownership and growth in a fast-moving energy tech startup.

Qualifications

• Strong Python skills and production data pipelines.
• Experience owning end-to-end data pipelines and systems.
• Experience with AWS or GCP.
• Clear communication with stakeholders to scope SLAs.
• Able to prioritise in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Own ingestion pipelines end-to-end, incl. TSDS, with recovery strategy.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data sources.
• Decide batch vs. streaming for pipelines with high-scale, low-latency needs.
• Set data quality checks enabling SLA commitments.
