Job summary

Xeneta is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to rebuild our data stack for AI-first decision making. You will own end-to-end data architecture, redesign Snowflake/dbt models, and ensure data is accurate, discoverable and ready for AI agents.

You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers and product teams to ship robust data products that power ocean and air freight decisions. You will lead governance, lineage and documentation while accelerating data delivery and reliability across the

Qualifications

5+ years in a Data Engineer role with scalable data architectures.
Experience with AI tooling and data teams.
Strong SQL and data modeling skills.

Responsibilities

Own the pipelines feeding the Xeneta platform and decide what to rebuild or retire.
Redesign data models in Snowflake and dbt for rapid delivery.
Make data usable by AI agents with clear semantics and lineage.
Educate teams on using data with AI tools.
Set governance rules and integrate them into the stack.
Automate provisioning, onboarding data sources, and data quality checks.
