Job summary

Credera is seeking an experienced Data Engineer within its UK Data Function, based in Leeds with a hybrid working model. You will lead complex data engineering work on client projects, build scalable data pipelines on Spark, Python and SQL, and shape data platforms using AWS services and lakehouse technologies.

SC clearance is required. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with stakeholders, and help deliver AI-enabled data solutions while maintaining data governance and security.

Qualifications

• Lead multiple, complex data engineering delivery to time, cost and quality with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Lead data engineering delivery across client projects and internal initiatives.
• Build data pipelines using Spark, Python and SQL.
• Collaborate with AWS data/AI services (SageMaker).
• Develop data platforms (Data Lakes/Lakehouses/Data Meshes) for analytics and AI workloads.
• Mentor engineers and upskill junior staff.
• Ensure data security, governance and responsible AI practices.
