Job summary

Accenture UK & Ireland, via Soben, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale data centre developments across Europe from London. You will own projects from strategy through handover, ensuring safety, quality, cost, and client satisfaction. Expect leadership across governance, schedules, budgets, and stakeholder engagement.

In this role you will shape strategy, manage governance, and drive cross-functional teams while mentoring junior members in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
• Chartered status (MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, CEng) or demonstrable progress toward chartership.
• Proven experience delivering major construction projects within a consultancy, client-side, or contractor environment.
• Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle from feasibility to handover.
• Excellent knowledge of PM methodologies, governance, and delivery best practices.
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships at senior executive level.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across all stages of project delivery for data centre schemes.
• Shape project strategy, governance, stakeholder relationships, and delivery plans.
• Lead governance, reporting, schedules, and cost controls throughout the lifecycle.
• Monitor performance, implement corrective actions, and manage change.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, risk and opportunity registers, and commercial decisions.
• Engage with clients, consultants, and contractors; lead meetings and governance forums.
• Mentor junior team members and foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
