This role involves designing mechanical distribution systems, providing expert advice to clients, and leading the technical specifications of mechanical systems. Qualifications
Knowledge and experience in designing mechanical systems for data centres.
Chartered status or working towards Chartered status with CIBSE or IMechE.
Technical MEP knowledge of relevant UK and EU regulations.
Understanding of the Uptime Institute Tier Classification System.
Flexible approach to meet project demands.
Working knowledge of TAS of IES and Hevacomp.
Experience with RevitMEP or other 3D design software.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD for project allocation.
Able to lead and mentor individuals effectively.
Responsibilities
Support the team in developing designs for mechanical distribution systems.
Provide advice to clients on mechanical systems.
Lead the design of data‑centre mechanical systems.
Prepare written reports of system options.
Produce technical specifications for mechanical systems.
Coordinate with other disciplines.
Prepare calculations and documentation for tender.
Monitor installation of designed equipment.
