Job summary

Senior Project Digital Lead at AECOM Bristol will steer digital delivery on hyperscale data centre projects, implementing BIM standards and BEPs, and coordinating with EC partners, consultants and clients. You’ll manage CDE processes, drive digital KPIs, and liaise with project leadership to align on scope, schedule and quality.

You’ll oversee regional teams, foster innovation in AI-enabled BIM, and mentor junior staff while maintaining high standards of project documentation and reporting.

• Proven track record in leading information management for large infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary Buildings projects with geographically dispersed teams.
• Knowledge of managing BIM throughout the entire project lifecycle, from design to construction and handover.
• Proficiency in IM and implementing industry standards like ISO 19650 on projects.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Forma, and other CDE solutions.
• Experience with data management and integration tools.
• Experience in project delivery, stakeholder coordination, and documentation.
• Proven ability to engage with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Skills in resolving conflicts that may arise during project execution.
• Strong data skills, including data governance and ability to use PowerBI to convey key project information to stakeholders.
• Interest or experience in integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into BIM and digital-delivery workflows.

Responsibilities

• Drive the digital and digital delivery agenda on projects in coordination with Project Leadership.
• Attend weekly project meetings with project stakeholders and client.
• Demonstrate digital progress to project leadership and the business via dashboards.
• Keep abreast of digital solutions and processes within the AEC landscape.
• Liaise and collaborate with other Project Digital Leads to maintain consistency of systems and processes.
• Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans (BEP) suited to projects and client requirements.
• Lead management of the project Common Data Environment (CDE), such as Autodesk Forma or ProjectWise.
• Lead BIM kick-off meetings internally and externally with EC partners, consultants and clients for all phases.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and information-delivery milestones, flagging risks in digital deliverables.
