HDR is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to design mechanical systems and HVAC solutions for Data Centres, ensuring technical excellence and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or relevant subject.
• Minimum 5 years mechanical design experience within design consultancy.
• Mechanical design experience for data centres.
• Experience managing mechanical design through all design stages.
• Experience with HVAC, cooling, ventilation and related systems; strong technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Carry out concept design through to detailed design.
• Ensure projects meet quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Motivate and manage staff to build high performing teams.
• Implement and manage QA systems on projects.
• Implement CDM regulations and health and safety policies.
• Ensure ISO 9001 and 14001 are adhered to.
